There is a treatment gap that touches thousands of Kenyan families. Children with autism, cerebral palsy, birth asphyxia, and developmental delays — children who desperately needed early intervention and rehabilitative therapy — growing up without access to any of it.
We believe access to quality care and inclusive education should not depend on where a child was born or what a family can afford. We started Lemaiyan’s Nurture Nook to close that gap — one child, one family, one community at a time.
Lemaiyan’s Nurture Nook is a community-based centre for children with special needs in Nairobi, Kenya — grounded in the belief that every child, regardless of their diagnosis, deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.
