Lemaiyan’s Nurture Nook was not created in a boardroom. It was born from the lived experience of a family determined to create a better future for their child.
When our son, Lemaiyan, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, we entered a world we knew very little about. We searched for therapy services, safe childcare, educational opportunities, and a supportive community.
Instead, we encountered long waits, limited resources, and a lack of spaces designed specifically for children with disabilities.
Most difficult of all was the feeling that families like ours were expected to navigate this journey alone.
